| Each quarterly issue
of i4c Magazine will focus on a local
development theme.
Easy to read and information about
resources available will be published alongside local technology success stories, how-to articles, and
invitations to interact with other Ugandans and the world online. Entertainment
including contests with prizes and online events will be used to
encourage the offline population to participate online.
During the first year, a targeted 28,000 free copies will be
distributed in Uganda as newspaper inserts, and at webcafes and rural
connectivity points throughout the country.
Funding is currently being sought through
GlobalGiving to partially fund i4c
Magazine's first year of publication. By the 4th issue, the publication will be 70% supported
by local advertisers. i4c Magazine will rely solely on advertiser support to
expand into East Africa during year 2.
